Currently Domestic Residence and Permissions Division is experiencing very high volumes of applications for several of our immigration schemes. As a consequence there is currently a delay in processing post/applications. When applications are received and uploaded on our systems applicants will receive an acknowledgement. We are doing all we can to acknowledge applications as soon as possible including reassigning staff and overtime. Please bear with us as we work through this.
If your situation changes while living in Ireland this may have an impact on your immigration permission and therefore you must advise the Department of Justice’s Immigration Service Delivery (ISD).
Examples of change in circumstances can include where you have got married, changed employment, or completed your studies.
In all these situations it is essential that you advise ISD of those changes. Please read more below about the options that are available and the steps you need to follow.
What are my options?
